Qigong
What is Qigong?

Dr. Durana has a Qigong practice that can be classified as medical, martial, or spiritual. All these Qigong practices and Qigong exercises share several things in common; they involve the integration of slow and gentle flowing movements, balanced postures, meditation, slow deep breathing, sound and touch to promote the functioning of internal organs, circulation, balance, strength and flexibility. Qigong can also be experienced as an “internal exercise” for directing the body’s Qi energy and removing energy blocks, thereby relaxing and harmonizing the body, emotions, mind, and spirit.

How to find a qualified instructor?
Check your local area for Tai Chi schools, acupuncturists, or martial arts schools. An excellent resource, the National Qigong Association has a list of instructors at www.NQA.org or call 888-815-1893. Check the instructors’ background and experience. Visit a class and evaluate if Qigong is right for you.
